Why is a hood or hood filter used?

The hood is necessary for fresh breathing in the kitchen!

Its main function is to improve air quality by eliminating burning fumes, unpleasant odors from cooking, and steam that is harmful to people, furniture, and walls.

Hood Grease Filter Maintenance:

The first step is to keep the filtering system in good condition to ensure the longevity and correct operation of your hood, both in the exhaust and recirculation version.

There are two types of hood grease filters:

The grease filter protects your hood by trapping oil particles. Aluminum or stainless steel grease filters require periodic hand washing with a neutral detergent or in a low-temperature dishwasher (*). A paper grease filter should be changed every month depending on use.

Activated carbon filters are attached for recirculation hoods and trap odor particles in the air. It should be changed every 3-4 months. Long-life filters have a longer lifespan: they need to be changed every two years.

Simple precautions will help you keep your hood in perfect condition.
